Christina Kurtenbach was born in 1986 in Waterloo, IA.  She studied theatre production at the University of Northern Iowa where she graduated with honors.  Christina began cultivating her talents as a photographer at a young age but really made strides during her college years when she started photographing shows.  Special importance was placed on ensuring every element in the scene looked its best.  This background in both theatre and photography enables her to capture the energy of a live event with pictures.  Her specialties include boudoir, engagement, wedding, and maternity sessions.  She currently resides in Iowa City where she works at ACT and Weddings by Carue.
